By drawings I mean all works drawn on paper or cardboard with a pencil.

As a decorator in the 70s, I still wrote the price tags and posters myself – by hand and with a paintbrush.

Drawing is always a joy in the acrobatics of the fingers with brushes and above all with pencils on paper.

That’s half the battle for expressing the line. Where it then goes is another story.

Over the years, I have developed a fondness for colored pencils.
